In my other previous post on this blog, i mentioned how a new blogger on blogspot.com can successfully add the sitemap of his blog on Google webmasters tools just read it here. that was when i was still using the blogspot.com address for my other blog not this one please. immediately i bought a domain name, i had to switch from the normal blogspot.com default address www.cyracksinternetbiz.blogspot.com to a custom address www.cyracksinternetbiz.com but you know what? i got a significant decrease in my traffic and page ranking. but after some Googling i discovers that,
I had to resubmit a sitemap for my custom address also. although there are so many ways for submitting sitemaps to Google but below is the one that works perfectly for my .com address. just add this to the space provided for your sitemapatom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
ie after your web address http://yourblogname.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500 in my case, it should be http://cyracksinternetbiz.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
That is all.
In case this one doesn't work for you maybe because you are using a .org, .co.cc, .tk, .net etc, just try the followings and one might definitely work for you
- your original and working feed address or google for more
Submit your Blog URL to this web directory for maximum traffic
